Last week, the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) held an awards banquet honoring Indiana companies nominated by service members in their employ. C&T Design was nominated for the Freedom Award.
The Freedom Award is the U.S. Government's highest recognition given to employers providing outstanding support to their employees serving in the National Guard and Reserve.
C&T Design Indianapolis' Matt Clapp, Petty Officer First Class, has been a service member in the U.S. Navy for 21 years, 6 years active and 15 reserve. Matt was stationed in California for most of his active duty service, deployed to South Korea, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Middle East, Singapore, and Australia. Matt's reserve duty brought him back to Indianapolis in 2013, requiring annual trips to Japan.
During his four years with us, Matt and C&T have worked together to balance his project management career and his family while accommodating his time away overseas fulfilling his military commitment.
ESGR, a Department of Defense program, promotes cooperation and understanding between Reserve Component Service members and their civilian employers and to assist in the resolution of conflicts arising from an employee's military commitment.
We are honored to support Matt and the U.S. Military. Thank you for your service, Matt!
