The Hoppy Gnome opened its doors last week in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana. With over 40 beers on tap and Millennials' childhood classics (like Back to the Future) regularly playing on their tv screens, this taqueria is sure to become a local favorite quickly.
Design Collaborative is the architecture firm that designed the restaurant. C&T Design's Fort Wayne office provided consulting services for the client, specifying the foodservice equipment. C&T Design also supplied the foodservice equipment and installed the walk-ins. This project presented a unique set of challenges. Due to their location, creative solutions had to be developed to allow proper equipment operation while still maintaining the aestethic goals of the design.
The Hoppy Gnome was conceptualized by the owner of Baker Street Steakhouse, James Khan, as well as Peter Schuey, General Manager.
