This project was fun and challenging because it is an outdoor patio kitchen. Because the university wants to use the equipment 9 months out of the year, the material the equipment used for prep, cooking, and refrigeration is made of was paramount. Also, for safety reasons, it was necessary that they have the ability to cut off the power supply to the equipment when not in use. The chicken skewers prepared in the tandoor ovens have proven to be popular among the students.
